On 11 December, 2014 final seminar of project „Fostering of Socio-economic Development and Encouraging Business in Border Areas” took place in Bishop's Castle of Vana Vastseliina (Võru County, Estonia). The head of Madona district council Mr Andrejs Ceļapīters addressed to audience and gave the assessment from the Lead partner about the progress of project, importance of the achieved results and necessity to continue with the ongoing. 18 December 2014 Сроки реализации Программы продлены до 31 декабря 2015 года

На основании подписания протокола к финансовому соглашению между Европейским Сообществом и Правительством Российской Федерации о финансировании и реализации Программы приграничного сотрудничества “Эстония-Латвия-Россия”, сроки реализации Программы “Эстония-Латвия-Россия” продлены до 31 декабря 2015 года. Протокол вступает в силу 8 декабря 2014 года. Продление направлено на обеспечение эффективной реализации  Программы и 14 проектов, которые были согласованы на продление на совещании Совместного Мониторингового Комитета 10 декабря 2014 года.

Projekta “Sociāli ekonomiskās attīstības, biznesa un sadarbības veicināšana pierobežas reģionos” noslēguma seminārs notika 11.decembrī Vana Vastseliina Bīskapa pilī, Võru apriņķī, Igaunijā.  Klātesošos uzrunāja Madonas novada domes priekšsēdētājs Andrejs Ceļapīters un sniedza vadošā partnera vērtējumu par projekta norises gaitu, sasniegto rezultātu nozīmīgumu un nepieciešamību turpināt aizsākto. 14.novembrī Igaunijas – Latvijas – Krievijas PSP Programma piedalījās desmitajā jubilejas starptautiskajā konferencē „Pārrobežu sadarbība: Krievijas Federācija, Eiropas Savienība un Norvēģija” Sanktpēterburgā, Krievijā. Konferenci kopīgi apmeklēja visas piecas pārrobežu programmas, kurās iesaistīta Krievija. Konferenci rīkoja Sanktpēterburgas pilsētas administrācija kopā ar Krievijas Federācijas Ekonomikas attīstības ministriju, kā arī par Krievijas pierobežas reģioniem atbildīgās iestādes un ANO „Dienvidrietumu attīstības un investīciju aģentūra”. Programmas Apvienotās vadošās iestādes vadītāja vietniece Zanda Mangule iepazīstināja auditoriju ar Igaunijas – Latvijas – Krievijas Programmā paveikto, kā piemēram, projektu atlases procesu un vērtēšanu, programmas vadību un sagatavošanos nākamajam programmas periodam. 17 December 2014 Implementation of the Programme prolonged till 31 December 2015

With signed Protocol to the Financing Agreement between the European Community and the Government of the Russian Federation on Financing and Implementing the Cross Border Cooperation Programme “Estonia-Latvia-Russia” entering into force from 8 December 2014 the ENPI Estonia-Latvia-Russia CBC Programme has been officially prolonged till 31 December 2015. Prolongation of the Programme is aimed at ensuring effective implementation of the Programme and 14 projects, that were prolonged during the meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee on 10 December 2014. From 1st till 3rd December, 2014 the closing conference of the project “Archaeology, Authority, Community: cooperation to protect archaeological heritage” was held in Pskov, Russia. The conference was summarising the results of cross-border cooperation and implementation of the Project which began on 1 May 2012 and will end 31 December 2014. The project succeeded not only in developing close cross border cooperation network of specialists and authorities, but as well achieved remarkable scientific results. Read more

On 11th December, 2014 the 5th meeting of the Joint Programming Committee took place in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. The main objective of the meeting was to continue discussion on the second draft of the Operational Programme of Latvia – Russia Cross-Border Programme 2014-2020. In addition information was provided on financial allocations to the Programme, preparation of Financing Agreement between the European Commission and the Russian Federation and process of carrying out Strategic Environmental Assessment in both countries. The next meeting of the Joint Programming Committee will take place in Latvia in April 2015.   Read more

On 10 December, 2014 the 9th  meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Estonia-Latvia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme took place in St.Petersburg, Russia. Joint Monitoring Committee was informed about official  prolongation of the Programme till 31 December 2015 entering into force from 8 December 2014 and taking into account this fact following documents for the year 2015 were approved - Annual Work Plan, Information and Visibility Plan and Technical Assistance Budget. Prolongation of the Programme lead to the decision on prolongation of 14 projects - 5 Large Scale Projects and 9 standart projects. Read more

The Project aimed at encouraging co-operation between Valga (Estonia), Valka (Latvia) and Novoe Devyatkino (Russia) "Be good at sport through three countries" (Be good at sport) crossed the finish line in October, 2014. Project partners succeeded in fostering cooperation of sports teams of three partner municipalities and creating conditions for development of sports games and friendly connections between Estonia, Latvia and Russia. On November 18–19 Final conference of the project “Increasing capacity of local authorities in providing e-services in Ida-Virumaa - Leningrad oblast cross-border area” (‘e-G2C’ ) took place in St. Petersburg, where the preliminary results of the project were discussed. Prototypes of two cross-border electronic services for municipal border town archives of Narva, Slantsy and Kingisepp have been presented by the project - namely, providing information on burials and records of employment on the other side of the border. These documents are mostly often claimed by the citizens of both countries. Read more
