From 1st July until 3rd of August the Project "ARCHAEOLOGY, AUTHORITY & COMMUNITY: cooperation to protect archaeological heritage" (AAC) held experimental archaeology seminar in Rõuge, Estonia. The aim of the seminar was to introduce Iron Age living environment through practical work and ancient building techniques.
The seminar took place by the replica of Viking Age house that was built in 2010-2011. During this year seminar walls of the smithy were built, the barn (walls of which were built last year) was relocated and the roof construction for it was made.
