FOSTER SME: XXI Universal Exhibition “PskovEXPO-2014” opened doors for small and medium entreprises in Pskov, Russia.

On 22-24 May XXI Universal Exhibition “PskovEXPO-2014” took place in Pskov, Russia. This Exhibition has been for already more than 20 years biggest and most popular business exhibition of the Pskov Region.

In the framework of the exhibition the Project “Fostering of Socio-economic Development and Encouraging Business in Border Areas” (Foster SME) opened exposition of small and medium enterprises of Pskov Region and Baltic states in its Expo Centre “Business without borders”. In the exposition 47 participants, 36 of them SMEs, presented their achievements in different fields – building, tourism, design, farming, crafts, souvenirs and many others.

The exhibition offered a varied business program to the participants. On 22 May in the conference room of the Expo Centre the seminar “How to reach your goals: Efficiency instruments” took place, on the main stage awarding of the participants followed soon afterwards. Traditional lottery with prizes from the exhibition participants attracted very lively attention of the audience. The second day of the event offered several master-classes and a round table discussion “New opportunities and resources of tourism development in Pskov Region”.
