Grant contract for 284 105,59 euro of the Programme co-financing countersigned by the JMA of the Programme and Latgale regional Development Agency (Latvia).

Latgale regional Development Agency (Latvia) has signed the Grant Contract and Pskov State Educational Institution “Children and Youth Centre Sports Training” (Russia) will realize cross-border sports project „Promotion of Healthy Life-Style Organizing Sport Events in Latgale and Pskov Regions” under the Priority 3 – Promotion of People to People cooperation, Measure 3.2 - Cooperation in spheres of culture, sport, education, social and health care. Total budget of the project is 315 672,88 euro.

The project is aimed to promote participation in sports events in order to make cross-border region more active, socially integrated and mobile, to encourage doing sports and improving inhabitants and their family’s health. Activities will help to tackle problems of social exclusion, social immobility, lack of integration, lack of cross-border cooperation. 17 tournaments in Latvia and Russia will be organized.
