LOGONTRAIN: Professor’s Lecture in Valga County Vocational Training Centre, Estonia
Professor Igor Kabashkin of Riga Transport and Telecommunication Institute is going to give his lecture on European Strategy for Development of Transport and Logistics in the Baltic Sea Region. This lecture is meant for students of logistics specialities in vocational training education, but it might also attract attention of wider public. The lecture starts at 10:30 and it will take about an hour. The lecture will be held in English.

The lecture in Valga County Vocational Training Centre will take place in the framework of LogOnTrain project of Estonia-Latvia-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013, which is specially designed for promotion of logistics and transport professions studies in border area vocational schools. There are seven partners in the project from Estonia, Latvia and North-West Russia and the project will be completed by the end of this year.

Professor Kabashkin is one of the best-known experts on transport and logistics systems in Latvia and he has published more than five hundred articles about transport and logistics. He has also taken part in publication of twenty five scientific and study books. |
