New Project Manager with Estonian language has joined the Secretariat staff
According to 7th
JMC decision, reorganisation process of JTS staff was initiated. To insure
proper monitoring and assistance for projects implementation, there was
established a position of Project Manager at JTS Main Office, at the same time
the Branch Office in Jõhvi, Estonia was closed.
Ms Riina Vaap started
to work as Project Manager in the JTS Main Office from 22 July, 2013.
Ms Riina Vaap has completed Master curriculum at 2010; she has graduated from Lääne-Virumaa Higher Vocational School as a social worker and studied at Tartu University at Master Programme for social science. For years 2002-2010 Riina has worked as a director of youth work institutions at Tartu and Tallinn. She has great experience in project management; her last job was administration and management of Central-Baltic programme INTERREG IV A project. She also has experiences in working with large scale NGO in Estonia, being in the years 2007-2009 the member of the board and later till 2013 chairman of the board of Association of Estonian Open Youth Centres. She has experiences in managing different kind of resources and organizing different scale of events. Her mother tongue is Estonian; she speaks fluent English and Russian and has good experience in working at multicultural teams.
Riina will be
responsible for management of programme’s projects.
