Recruitment of the Financial Manager assistant

Estonia - Latvia - Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme within European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument 2007-2013 is looking for an Financial Manager assistant.

Required qualification:

- Academic degree (recommended in the field of economics, business, finances or equivalent);
- Excellent knowledge of Latvian and English language, both – oral and written;
- Minimum two years practical experience of financial management/auditing EU (ERDF) funded Programmes / projects;
- Good knowledge of EU regional development policies and relevant legislation and  European Neighbourhood Policy;
- Knowledge about CBC programmes and experience working with cooperation projects or programmes will be considered as an advantage;
- Estonian or Russian language skills will be considered as an advantage;
- Data processing and software analysis skills;
- Computer literacy and previous experience in budgetary and accounting;
- Good communication, writing, presentation as well analytical skills.

Terms of Employment and Selection

The Financial Manager assistant will be legally employed by State Regional Development Agency of the Republic of Latvia in Riga under the Latvian Labour Law. The employment is foreseen on a full-time basis (40 hours a week) for the period while employee is on leave (one year and a half). Financial assistant position is offered during the probation period. After probation period financial manager position can be offered.
A competitive salary will be offered depending on the qualification and experience of the selected candidates.
