Since 1st of March Elena Makarova has joined the Joint Technical Secretariat as a Project Manager

Elena has graduated from the St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of Sociology. She has been involved in implementation of a number of Projects in social protection sector and cross-border cooperation, including “New zones of spatial development” (TACIS/INTERREG), “Development of sustainable collaboration networks between business support structures and enterprises of Yhvi and Kingisepp municipalities” (INTERRG IIIA North). She also worked in the Institute of Regional Economy Problems (RAS) as Junior Researcher in Laboratory for cross-border and transboundary cooperation.

 

Elena will provide assistance and information to the project partners on generation, development and implementation of projects as well as on assessment, contracting and reporting issues.
