VIA HANSEATICA Mobile Application – New, Bright, Modern – launched in St.Petersburg, Russia
Driven by new technologies and in order to support travel planner of Via Hanseatica route online VIA HANSEATICA Project has developed and on 4 April in St.Peterburg, Russia launched its Mobile Application. With the support of the Progamme colourful and interactive launching took place during international tourism fair “Leisure without borders 2014. Summer”. Visitors were involved in a quizz and after answering tricky questions about Estonia, Latvia and Russia, as well about sites of the Via Hanseatica received nice souvenirs from the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme and the Project.
Project Via Hanseatica participates in the international tourism fair “Leisure without borders 2014.Summer” in the framework of the activities supported by the Estonia-Latvia-Russia CBC Programme.
During launching ceremony Ms Sille Talvet Project Manager introduced Via Hanseatica route and possibilities that the Mobile Application offers to users of Mobile phones, as well presented newest travel guide – written as a story about unforgettable adventures on the Via Hanseatica.
Mr Sergey Balanev, representing the Joint Technical Secretariat Branch of the Programme invited visitors of the fair to discover the new exellent sites in Estonia and Latvia.

Via Hanseatica mobile application
Via Hanseatica application includes several features ranging from Via Hanseatica tourism map and information about tourism objects to popular phrases in local language and access to predefined Via Hanseatica tourism routes based on individual interests of traveller. What is specially worth to be mentioned – it is possible to enter the code generated in travel.viahanseatica.info to follow up the individual route viewing all the necessary information already on the way. Mobile application works both online and offline mode to save travellers costs. To plan the trip and generate the code and use it later in the mobile application tourists are invited to use Via Hanseatica travel planner available in www.viahanseatica.info or travel.viahanseatica.info .
