VIA HANSEATICA: the Project presented during All-Russia Forum in St. Petersburg
On 21-22 October
Via Hanseatica Project of Estonia-Latvia-Russia CBC Programme and the tourism route of the same name were promoted during XII All-Russian Forum «Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia» in St Petersburg, Russia.
The main goal of the Forum was to discuss practical issues of building a unified system of State Territorial Strategic Planning and Territorial Cooperation and to provide examples of the best international and Russian experience of system solutions for development, management and implementation of strategies, based on the current challenges of globalization and transition to green economy, creative technologies and cluster development, increasing importance of innovation, human and social capital.
Via Hanseatica Project, giving its presentation in the session “Urban Rural Partnerships for Sustainable Development: Experience of the Baltic Sea Region”, showed a good example of cross-border cooperation work and made an investment into sustainability of the Project.
