| Short description of Project idea: | Project idea: Specific objective of the project is: to setup an information system on labour-market issues, on training, qualifications and job opportunities in the common cross-border area of Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus with a possibility to extend it into whole country, by designing, developing and integrating a multilingual online-information portal to compare job profiles as well as vocational and advanced training initiating this way a cross-border transfer of knowledge and experience by network activities. Partner needed: Chambers of Trade and Industry and/or other institutions representing employers, National labour market authorities, Vocational training institutions, local government authorities and research institutions.: |

| Main project activities and / or results: | The general objectives of the e-jobguide platform pertain to: 1) fostering face-to-face cooperation between cross-border labour and market actors (e.g. in thematic workshops), 2) promoting transparency and accessibility in vocational training, 3) dismantling obstacles to mobility, and 4) achieving the optimized cross-border utilisation of regional labour force pools. The specific objectives of the e-jobguide refer to 1) facilitating the optimal placement of specialists in a sector-based/profession way, 2) identifying and classifying the existing recognition procedures for professional qualifications in the cross-border area, 3) disseminating information about the potential of regional and local skilled workforce, and 4) providing the framework for an interactive exchange of all stakeholders in the cross-border labour markets, e.g. by workshops with experts. |
